Bow & arrow and Elephant poo

The moment I walked in to camp, I felt the heat of Africa upon me. I knew I was safe because of the camp and Jackson. I have great memories from Rekero like when we went to Dickson’s village and then to visit the young Morans.
The tents were very cosy and you could see the light shining in when one woke up in the mornings. We had a great experience of learning to shoot bows and arrows and make a fire out of rubbing sticks together and then lighting it with elephant poo!
I hope this encourages you to go to Rekero camp as I know you would love it as I did. You will really like Jackson because he is a very experienced man and knows lots about Kenya, the Masai and the wildlife.
