Morocco

“We can't thank you and your fabulous company enough for giving us such a splendid time”

Cultural sightseeing, shopping, hiking, desert camps

Exotic, hot and yet only a short flight from Europe, Morocco is a country with something for everyone, whether it’s shopping til you drop with a personal shopper extraordinaire in the mediaeval medinas (old cities) of Marrakech and Fez, hiking in the dramatic snow-capped peaks of the mountains in the high Atlas with their welcoming Berber population, camping out in the rolling sands of the Sahara amongst the desert nomads, exploring the laidback fishing villages on the windswept Atlantic coast or relaxing in one of the luxurious retreats that dot the countryside.

Morocco as a destination has exploded in the last few years – as has the choice of where to stay. The medinas of the Imperial Cities have been rejuvenated with the restoration of hundreds (even thousands) of riads – a house built around a garden courtyard with thick walls and windows overlooking the interior rather than the exterior to preserve the surprisingly cool air on even the hottest days – but as each one is so individual it’s imperative to get the right advice.

Best visited: October, November, February, March, April, May, June are warm and sunny. Evenings are cool in the winter months

All itineraries are individually designed, but as a guide, we can arrange ten days in Morocco without flights from £1000 per person.
